Hi, I'm Alix

I’ve spent my career at the intersection of art and business, driven by a deep love for creativity and a desire to make it more accessible. From 2017 to 2024, I poured my heart into building an e-commerce platform that showcased talented, underrepresented artists from around the world. It was acquired in 2024—a bittersweet milestone that marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Since its sale, i've reconnected with my creativity and devoted myself fully to this new chapter: Motherhood.

Before launching my art e-commerce business, I spent nearly a decade working with some of New York’s top galleries and auction houses, experiences that shaped my understanding of the art world from the inside out. I hold a Master’s in Art History from Christie’s Education and a BFA from Cornell, and I’ve had the joy of writing about art for various publications, including contributing to Michael Findlay’s The Value of Art.

I’ve been honored to be recognized by Jewish Week’s 36 Under 36 and am proud to be an alumna of Project Entrepreneur (a collaboration between the Rent the Runway Foundation and UBS) and VentureCrush.

These days, I’m back at the easel—painting again after years away—creating whimsical, heartfelt portraits of my family and taking on commissions for others. I live and paint on the Upper East Side with my husband Rob, our dog Brady, and our son Gus, who inspires nearly everything I make. When we’re not covered in paint or flour, you can usually find us at the park or cooking something cozy at home.
